Residents at Humfrey Lodge enjoyed a memorable minibus trip to Daisy May’s Farm on 30 June 2026, spending the day outdoors, meeting animals, and enjoying the peaceful farm surroundings.
Organised by Lifestyle Coordinator Weronika Bien, the trip gave residents the opportunity to feed the animals, enjoy fresh air, and share laughter and conversation together. The friendly farm animals brought plenty of smiles, making it a lovely day for everyone involved.
The visit was especially meaningful for one resident who previously worked on a farm. Being surrounded by animals and the familiar farm environment brought back happy memories, encouraging him to share stories from his past and reconnect with an important part of his life.
Ralph, a resident at Humfrey Lodge, shared: “We had such a lovely day at Daisy May’s Farm! Being outdoors, feeding the animals and enjoying the farm surroundings brought us so much joy. The animals were so gentle and friendly, and we enjoyed every moment. Thank you to everyone who made this special trip possible! We can’t wait to visit again!”
The atmosphere throughout the visit was calm, cheerful, and relaxed, with residents enjoying each other’s company while creating wonderful new memories.
