Residents from Laureate Court care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a special morning celebrating their hometown at the Rotherham Red Day Coffee Morning, held at the Rotherham Titans Rugby Grounds.
Laureate Court residents and staff were invited by Rotherham Titans to attend the event, where they were joined by Rotherham Titans rugby players, family members and members of the local community.
The morning provided residents with an opportunity to enjoy time in the local community while celebrating the town they call home.
Residents of Laureate Court enjoyed a range of activities during the morning, including a quiz which proved to be a particular highlight. There was also plenty to enjoy alongside the refreshments, including a delicious cake made by a local Rotherham resident.
One Laureate Court resident described the occasion as “such a lovely morning celebrating our hometown.”
