Residents, families, and staff at Laureate Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came together on 12 June 2026 to celebrate Pride Month with a lively Pride Party filled with music, refreshments, and community spirit.
The event was organised to recognise the importance of Pride and to demonstrate Laureate Court’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and celebrating individuality. The home was transformed into a colourful and welcoming space where everyone could come together and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and fun.
A highlight of the celebration was a performance from singer Liam Battersby, whose energetic set had residents singing along and enjoying the atmosphere. Guests were treated to a selection of refreshments, including beer, Bucks Fizz, hot dogs with onions, and a variety of snacks.
The event was attended by residents, their families, and members of staff, creating a wonderful opportunity for everyone to socialise and celebrate together.
The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was fun, loud, and energetic, with residents embracing the celebrations and enjoying the opportunity to mark Pride Month together.
The Pride Party reflects Laureate Court’s ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and able to be themselves.
