Residents and staff from Park View care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a fantastic evening out at Witham Fair on Friday 10th July 2026, creating memories full of laughter, excitement, and smiles.
The idea came from Home Manager Alex, who thought it would be a wonderful opportunity for residents to experience the fun of the fair. After hearing the music and excitement nearby, everyone decided they had to go and see what all the fun was about.
Residents Kay and Roger had a brilliant time together, enjoying the rides and atmosphere. Kirsty and Roger even took things to the next level by braving one of the bigger rides!
Lifestyle Coordinator Diane Anderson said:
“Seeing the smiles on the residents’ faces was the highlight of the evening. It was wonderful to see them having fun and making special memories.”
Resident Kay shared:
“I could see the Fair from my bedroom window and never dreamed I would be able to go on the rides at my age.”
The evening was filled with happiness, laughter, and excitement, proving that you’re never too old for new experiences and unforgettable moments.
