Residents from Wisden Court care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a memorable day out exploring Britain’s aviation history with a visit to the RAF Museum, followed by a lunch together.
Accompanied by members of the team and Lifestyle Coordinator Angie, the group had the opportunity to explore the museum and see its impressive collection of historic aircraft.
One resident said: “Wow, this is so fun!”
Another resident added: “I loved going out for lunch and seeing all of the old planes.”
Activities and outings such as this are an important part of supporting residents’ wellbeing, providing opportunities to pursue their interests.
