Residents, staff, and family members at Leawood Manor Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came together on 23rd April to enjoy a joyful St George’s Day sing-along, celebrating English heritage with music, flag waving, and plenty of smiles.
The special afternoon was filled with singing, laughter, and a wonderful sense of togetherness as everyone joined in to mark the occasion. Residents proudly waved flags while singing along to some of their favourite songs, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere throughout the home.
Family members joined staff and residents for the celebration, making the event even more meaningful. The sing-along provided an opportunity to share heritage and culture while simply enjoying time together and celebrating as one community.
Events like these are an important part of life at Leawood Manor, helping residents stay connected to meaningful traditions while encouraging fun, social interaction, and wellbeing.
