There were smiles all around at Longview Care Home as residents, families, staff and local neighbours came together for the home’s much-loved annual summer fete on 1 August 2026.
Guests enjoyed browsing the stalls, taking part in raffles and spending quality time together in a lively community atmosphere. The fantastic day also raised £500 towards residents’ amenities, helping to fund future activities and experiences.
Sophie Wilde, Lifestyles Co-Ordinator, said: “It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves and coming together as one community. We’re thrilled to have raised £500 for our residents and are so grateful to everyone who supported us.”
Local neighbour Sandra described the fete as “amazing” and said it was lovely to see everyone come together.
With plenty of laughter, shopping and community spirit, the summer fete was a wonderful day to remember for everyone at Longview.
