Residents, families, staff and the local community came together at Windmill House on 15 August for its annual summer fayre, this year with a strawberry country theme.
The afternoon featured live country music, line dancing, a tombola, water-or-wine stall, lemonade stand, face painting, community stalls and a barbecue.
Steph Gilding, Lifestyle Coordinator, said: “It was wonderful to see residents, families, staff and our local community all together. There was dancing, singing, laughter and so many happy memories made.”
A highlight was seeing residents, relatives and staff having a go at line dancing. The event also raised an amazing £265 towards residents’ amenities.
Relatives praised the day, with one saying, “Thank you all for a lovely day,” while another described it as a “wonderful event.”
A fantastic day was enjoyed by all!
