Residents and staff at Tallis House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed an afternoon of country music as they celebrated International Country Music Day with a special western-themed party.
The Tallis House event featured a live country music singer, giving residents the chance to enjoy some well-known country songs and get involved with the celebrations. Tallis House embraced the theme, with residents wearing cowboy hats, dancing along to the music and enjoying the opportunity to take part.
Events like the Country Music party, play an important role at Tallis House, providing opportunities for residents to have fun and enjoy shared experiences.
A highlight of the afternoon was seeing Tallis House residents put on their cowboy hats and get up to dance alongside the singer, with plenty of enthusiasm for the country-themed celebrations.
The Tallis House team would like to thank Danial Robinson & Sons Funeral Directors for sponsoring the singer and would also like to say a huge thank you to Rachel Brownlie and Clare Sambrook for making the event possible.
