Residents, families and staff at Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came together on Friday 19 June to celebrate Father’s Day with a heartwarming lunch, giving loved ones the opportunity to enjoy quality time together in a welcoming and relaxed setting.
Held in the home’s Day Centre, the Father’s Day celebration featured a traditional lunch, with guests choosing between fish and chips or pie and chips. The event was designed to honour fathers and father figures while creating meaningful moments for residents and their families.
The lunch was attended by residents, relatives and members of the care team, with the room filled with conversation, laughter and shared memories throughout the afternoon. Families expressed how much they appreciated the opportunity to celebrate Father’s Day with their loved ones at the home.
