Residents of Westwood care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, along with families and staff came together for a lively Wild West party to celebrate International Country Music Day, with an afternoon of music and dancing.
Westwood care home was transformed for the occasion, with the room decorated with a Wild West theme and staff and residents dressing up for the celebration. The event gave everyone the chance to enjoy an afternoon together and take part in something different.
Live entertainment was provided by singer Keeley, who performed a selection of country and western songs. Westwood residents and their families joined in, singing and dancing along to the music throughout the afternoon.
One attendee summed up the afternoon simply: “Amazing as always.”
The celebration was organised to mark International Country Music Day and provide an enjoyable event that could bring the whole community together.
