On 13th December, Redbond Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was filled with festive cheer as Zues, an 11-month-old Great Dane puppy, made a special return visit. Dressed in a charming reindeer outfit, Zues joined the residents in celebrating the holiday season, bringing smiles and joy to all.
The residents were absolutely delighted by Zues’ visit. Many of them enjoyed giving him treats and showering him with affection, reminiscing about the pets they had cherished over the years. For those at Redbond Lodge, animal visits are always a heartwarming occasion, offering both comfort and companionship amongst the residents.
Karen Briggs, Lifestyle Coordinator at Redbond Lodge, commented: “one resident said that if her children could see him, they would be asking if they could have one too”
Zues’ visit was a wonderful reminder of the happiness animals bring, especially during the festive season.
