Epping Forest Mayor Visits Frank Foster House

Frank Foster House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was delighted to welcome Councillor Janet Whitehouse, Mayor of Epping Forest, on Friday 25th July, in celebration of the home’s recent success at the Dementia Care Awards 2025.

The mayor’s visit marked a proud moment for the entire team, who were recognised nationally for their outstanding commitment to dementia care. The team at Frank Foster House received accolades for their compassionate, person-centred approach and for creating a truly enriching environment for residents living with dementia.

During her visit, Mayor Whitehouse toured the home, met with staff and residents, and offered her personal congratulations to the team.

“It’s truly inspiring to see the care and commitment demonstrated here at Frank Foster House,” said Mayor Whitehouse. “The team should be incredibly proud of the work they do every day, and these awards are a reflection of that exceptional service.”
