Laureate Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was buzzing with excitement on 21 November 2025 as residents, families, and staff took part in a fun-filled I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!–themed event, bringing laughter, teamwork, and plenty of entertainment to the home.
Inspired by the popular television programme, the event saw participants enjoy a variety of messy food challenges, fast-paced games, and playful trials designed to get everyone involved. Staff, residents, and family members joined in together, creating a shared experience full of energy and smiles.
Sharon, Lifestyle Coordinator at Laureate Court, explained the idea behind the event:
“We love coming up with fresh, fun ideas to keep everyone entertained, and we thought I’m a Celebrity would be a great activity for staff and residents to enjoy together.”
The event was particularly memorable for its Bush Tucker–style challenges, with residents enjoying the reactions of staff and family members as they bravely sampled some “weird and wonderful” foods.
The atmosphere throughout the day was described as full of laughter, cheer, and fantastic team spirit. Events like this highlight Laureate Court’s commitment to creating enjoyable, engaging experiences that bring people together and promote fun and wellbeing for everyone involved.
