Wisden Court, part of the Runwood Homes group, residents recently enjoyed an exciting trip to the Arsenal Stadium on 2 June 2026, as part of the home’s ongoing lifestyle and enrichment programme.
The idea for the trip originated from a resident who shared fond memories of living near the old stadium and expressed a wish to return and reconnect with the area. This inspired the team to arrange a special outing that would bring those memories to life.
Residents were given a guided tour of the stadium, including access to the players’ changing rooms and the opportunity to view the pitch up close—both of which proved to be standout highlights of the day.
The atmosphere throughout the visit was described as happy, exciting, and joyful, with residents fully engaged and enthusiastic from start to finish.
