Residents and their families at Park View care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a special culinary experience when Chris and Matt Williams from the Runwood Homes Hospitality Team visited to lead an interactive bread- and pasta-making event.
Chris Williams, Group Hospitality and Catering Manager, and Matt Williams, Regional Support Chef, shared their culinary expertise with residents and their families, demonstrating how to make fresh bread and pasta from scratch.
JC, a resident at Park View, said:
“I’ve recently moved into Park View, and I’ve been really enjoying all the activities here. This event was great fun and something a bit different. It was wonderful to see the fresh bread and pasta being made, and I enjoyed watching everyone get involved. There’s always something interesting going on, and it’s been a lovely way to meet people and try new experiences.”
Following the success of the event, Park View hopes to host similar hospitality-focused experiences in the future, continuing to provide residents with meaningful opportunities to learn, socialise, try new things and create positive memories with their families and the wider home community.
