Residents of Windle Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, along with their families and friends, enjoyed a special Quiz and Curry Night, with an evening of good food and friendly competition.
Guests took part in a quiz before enjoying a delicious curry, with plenty of conversation and fun throughout the evening.
Peter, husband of Windle Court resident, Sarah, attended the evening and enjoyed taking part in the quiz and curry night. He praised the evening, describing it as having a “really great atmosphere” and saying that the curry was “very tasty and delicious.” They also shared their compliments with Lee, Lifestyle Coordinator, for the time and effort put into organising the event.
One of the biggest highlights of the evening was the money raised, which will be donated towards creating more special experiences and memories for residents in the future. Staff enjoyed catching up with Windle Court residents’ family and loved ones and building stronger relationships with the families who are such an important part of the community.
Events like this at Windle Court are so important, as they give residents the opportunity to have fun together and create happy memories.
