Residents at Wisden Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a special visit from Taggie the goat.
Taggie, who belongs to a staff members grandparent, was welcomed into the home for a lovely visit, giving Wisden Court residents the opportunity to meet her up close.
Seeing Wisden Court residents smile as they stroked Taggie was a particular highlight of the day.
Wisden Court residents were delighted by their furry visitor, with one commenting, “Awww, Taggie is so cute,” while another resident remarked, “She is so well behaved.” One resident was so taken with her that they even asked, “Can we keep her?”
Wisden Court’s animal visits are so important as they provide opportunities for companionship and meaningful interactions.
