Lower Meadow Care Home, part of Runwood Homes, took part in Care Home Open Week, hosting a vibrant programme of events designed to bring residents, relatives, and the wider community together in celebration.
Throughout the week, a variety of themed activities took place, including:

- Tuesday: Cheese and Wine evening, providing a relaxed social atmosphere for residents and the local community
- Wednesday: Football party, celebrating the World Cup
- Thursday: Picnic in the garden to mark National Picnic Day
- Friday: Beach Day, a summer-themed celebration
