We take pride in providing individualised care tailored to each person’s unique needs, supporting older people, including those living with Alzheimer’s, other forms of dementia, or experiencing social isolation. Open six days a week from 9:30am to 3:00pm, Highview offers a welcoming space featuring a dining area and three activity rooms, including a relaxation and sensory room. Outside, clients can enjoy our beautiful garden, complete with a shed, greenhouse, vegetable patch, and colourful flower beds, perfect for relaxation or a bit of gentle gardening.
My name is Pauline, and I have over 20 years of experience working with Runwood Homes. Throughout my career, I have held various managerial positions within the company before returning to manage Highview Day Centre in 2014. I take great pride in leading the day centre and in providing care and support not only to our service users but also to their families.
Together with my dedicated team, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and happy environment where every individual receives the high-quality care they deserve.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and relaxing in my garden or allotment, it’s my favourite way to unwind and recharge.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.
Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
