Ashwood care home in Ware proudly celebrated three decades of outstanding service by Kelly on Thursday, 28th March. The surprise celebration, organised by Home Manager Hanna and attended by staff, management, and Care Team Leaders, marked a significant milestone in Kelly’s journey with Ashwood.
Kelly, the longest-standing member of the Ashwood family, was taken aback with what she thought was a routine night staff meeting turned into a heartwarming tribute to her dedication and commitment. Colleagues gathered to express their gratitude for Kelly’s invaluable contributions over the years.
Hanna, reflecting on Kelly’s remarkable tenure, remarked, “A massive thank you to Kelly for all of her hard work and dedication to her role over the 30 years she has worked here at Ashwood. Here’s to the next 30!!”
Kelly’s unwavering dedication to Ashwood has left a permanent mark on the community, touching the lives of residents, staff, and families. In recognition of her remarkable milestone, Kelly was presented with a plaque honouring her 30 years of service, alongside a chocolate hamper as a token of appreciation. Additionally, one of the carers lovingly prepared Kelly’s favourite cakes, and the entire home came together to sign a heartfelt card expressing gratitude for her commitment and loyalty.
