Chelmunds Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, had the honour of welcoming six esteemed delegates from China on a special visit to the home yesterday. Leading the delegation was Mr. Cao Zhongping, Party Group Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs.
The visit formed part of the delegates’ mission to explore and understand best practices in elderly care, with a particular focus on nursing care and the advanced administrative approaches used in UK care homes.
During their time at Chelmunds Court, the delegation engaged in meaningful discussions with the management team, asking insightful questions about the day-to-day operations, nursing care practices, and the challenges faced within the care sector.
Residents and staff who were full of excitement had the opportunity to meet the visitors. The team at Chelmunds Court was delighted to showcase the high standards of care and warm community that define the home.
The visiting delegates commended Chelmunds Court for its welcoming and family-like environment, describing it as a “holistic home.” They were particularly impressed by the cleanliness, the beautiful design of the rooms, and the sense of compassion and respect shown to every resident.
