On Saturday 9th October, at Leawood Manor in West Bridgford, residents, staff and family raised their glasses to wish Evelyn a very special 100th Birthday!
Evelyn enjoyed opening her many cards and presents and took great delight receiving a card from Her Majesty the Queen.
Evelyn had a wonderful time with visits from her family, and in the afternoon, she enjoyed a lovely cream tea with her friends at Leawood.
Evelyn was born and raised in Clifton village, Nottingham and is one of six children. She is a proud mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother!
When asked had she enjoyed her day, Evelyn replied “I haven’t had a day as busy as this for a long time – I can’t believe all the cards and presents I’ve had, and it’s been so lovely to see my lovely family – I am a very lucky lady.”
Senior Home Manager, Zimran, added “Evelyn is a remarkable lady and an inspiration to us all, we have all been thrilled to be part of her special day.”
