Residents and staff at Park View Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, came together to support Macmillan Cancer Support, dressing in green and enjoying a fun-filled day of baking and cake decorating.
Residents and staff of Park View embraced the theme by wearing green throughout the day before getting creative in the kitchen, making and decorating their own cakes together.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, have fun and show their support for Macmillan Cancer Support while enjoying a meaningful activity.
Park View residents particularly enjoyed getting involved with the baking and decorating, with the day creating plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the home.
Resident of Park View, Glen, said: “It was lovely to make cake and wear green for the day. We all looked so good!”
For Park View, the highlight was seeing residents having fun together and getting creative, taking part in a colourful celebration, for an important cause.
