Wisden Court, part of the Runwood Homes group, residents enjoyed an engaging day out at the zoo on 20th May 2026, as part of a wellbeing-focused outing organised by the lifestyle team.
Residents shared their enthusiasm throughout the visit, with KT describing the experience as “how beautiful,” while RB commented that “the tigers are huge,” and PH noted that “the meerkats are so cute,” capturing the excitement and joy of the day.
The idea for the outing was developed through a discussion between residents and staff, with the aim of creating a fun and enriching experience that supports resident wellbeing. The trip proved to be highly successful, with a fun, amusing, and exciting atmosphere throughout the day.
Lifestyle Coordinator Ally said the trip was especially important as it contributed positively to resident happiness and wellbeing, helping to create meaningful shared experiences outside of the home.
