Meet Our Home Manager

Nicolas Kee Mew

Hi my name is Nicolas Kee Mew and I am the new Peripatetic Manager at Frank Foster House. I have 18 years of experience working in Social Care. My journey in social care started at Frank Foster House in 2006 as a cleaner and I have spent 7 years working from carer to care team manager. I have decided to come back to Runwood Homes after 11 years to support the homes. I am based at Frank Foster House at present.

I have run some outstanding care homes in the past from not for profits to private care homes. I have an MSC in Dementia Studies from Stirling University.

You will also meet Elia my 10 years old Schnauzer dog who is an emotional support registered dog.

I am also a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society for the past 10 years and in 2022 I won a British Citizen Award for Voluntary Work for Dementia.

I look forward to meet you all!

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
