Runwood Homes’ Head Office lit up with red, white, and blue this 4th of July as the team celebrated in true American style, all while raising funds for a very special cause.
Staff showed up in full festive force, with cowboy hats, USA jerseys and bold patriotic outfits. The office was transformed with colourful decorations and an American buffet with juicy hot dogs, cheesy pizzas, creamy potato salad, devilled eggs, and spicy buffalo wings, making it a fun, feel-good day.
But this celebration was about more than hot dogs and cowboy boots.
The event was organised to support a brave young boy in the local community recently diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The team rallied together to raise funds through raffles, donations, and sheer community spirit, with 100% of proceeds going directly to support the family during this challenging time.
“It was a brilliant day”, said a staff member. “We had so much fun celebrating, but more importantly, it reminded us all just how powerful community support can be when we come together for someone in need.”
The event not only lifted spirits but reinforced the core values that Runwood Homes stands for, compassion, care, and community.
