Staff Appreciation Party was held at Chelmunds Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, to recognise the dedication, compassion, and teamwork of every member of the care team. Organised during a dedicated break in the schedule to maximise participation, the event gave staff a chance to unwind, connect, and celebrate their hard work in a relaxed, fun setting.
From carers and nurses to kitchen staff, housekeeping, wellbeing, maintenance, and management, the entire team at Chelmunds Court came together for an afternoon of games, music, and great food. Staff member Socorro commented on the event, saying:
“It was really happy, and everyone was enjoying. No dull moments.”
Team members helped organise and take part in setting up decorations, music, and food stations, transforming the space into a festive hub of joy and camaraderie.
“This yearly tradition is so important,” said a member of the organising team. “It’s about more than celebration, it’s about recognising the people behind the incredible care we provide daily at Chelmunds Court Care Home. It reminds us all that we’re part of something bigger, a team that supports and values one another.” 
The event left everyone uplifted, reinforcing a strong sense of belonging and positivity within the workplace.
