Residents, staff, and family members of Leawood Manor Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came together on 3 December to celebrate Elf Day with a lively coffee morning and quiz aimed at raising money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The event brought everyone together for a cheerful morning filled with conversation, treats, and festive fun. Elf Day is an important occasion at Leawood Manor, offering an enjoyable way to support a meaningful cause while strengthening community spirit within the home.
Lifestyle Coordinator at Leawood Manor, Sue, shared her thoughts on the celebration:
“This morning we’ve been ‘elfing around’ as we celebrated Elf Day and helped raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society. Residents, staff and family members enjoyed a festive coffee morning and quiz filled with fun, laughter, and just the right amount of mischief! A wonderful way to support an important cause while spreading Christmas cheer.”
