Oldfield House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was delighted to welcome the Fishlake Village Choir for a St George’s Day celebration, bringing residents, families, and team members together for an afternoon filled with music and joy.
The choir performed a wonderful selection of songs, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere throughout the home. Many residents joined in with the singing, making the occasion interactive and deeply meaningful for everyone involved.
Feedback from families and residents highlighted the success of the day. One family member shared, “Thank you for organizing such a wonderful event. It means so much to know my Mum is enjoying moments like this.” Another added, “The choir sounded amazing, and it’s great to see everyone joining in and smiling.” A resident also reflected, “It brought back so many lovely memories, and I really enjoyed singing along with everyone.”
