Carolyne House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, is delighted to reflect on the continued success of its annual summer fetes, which have become a much-loved highlight for residents, families, staff, and the wider community.
Past events have consistently delivered a vibrant, fun-filled atmosphere, with feedback from attendees describing the fetes as having an “amazing atmosphere,” being “lots of fun,” and “residents had the best time.” These celebrations have brought together community members, residents, staff, and relatives in a shared day of music, food, entertainment, and connection.
Charlotte, Lifestyle Coordinator at Carolyne House, said the event continues to be a meaningful occasion for everyone involved. The fetes are designed to offer residents an enjoyable and engaging day while strengthening community ties and showcasing life at Carolyne House.
“Knowing this is all for the residents is a real highlight for us,” Charlotte added, reflecting on the impact of the event.
The annual summer fete also plays an important role in supporting the home’s activity fund, helping to enhance future experiences and opportunities for residents throughout the year.
Building on previous successes, this year’s summer fete will take place on 20 June, 1:00pm–4:00pm. The event promises a lively afternoon featuring stalls, live bands, a barbecue, bouncy castle, refreshments, games, and homemade cakes, alongside plenty of entertainment for all ages.
The team are looking forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces this June for another special summer celebration.
