Residents at Brewster House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a baking session, making delicious cakes while sharing memories and stories.
The activity saw Brewster House residents work alongside the Lifestyle Team and the home’s Chef, taking part in every stage of the baking process, from weighing out the ingredients to mixing everything together. The session encouraged teamwork and conversation as everyone worked together to prepare a tasty treat to share.
Brewster House resident Hazel shared how much the experience meant to her, saying: “I loved making cakes with my children. It makes me feel happy to do it again.”
