Residents of Alexandra House recently travelled on our minibus, enjoying a delightful trip to Southend-on-Sea! The excursion provided a refreshing change of scenery and a chance for fun-filled activities, enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of our residents.
The outing featured a leisurely stroll along the seafront, followed by a delicious lunch of fish and chips, a beloved choice among the residents. The group then enjoyed thrilling visits to the arcades before pausing for a relaxing drink at a nearby pub. The day’s adventures were made even more enjoyable by the breath-taking coastal views and the shared excitement of exploring new experiences.
At Alexandra House, and across the Runwood Homes group, we enjoy these outings with our residents, seeing different surroundings and enjoying the fresh air is vital for their overall wellbeing. Such trips allow them to partake in enjoyable activities and relish their favourite meals, creating cherished memories.
