Our amazing residents at The Grange care home in Wickford, Essex, put on a fantastic Christmas show with their choir at the Shotgate Community Hall on Saturday the 3rd of December.
With a jam-packed audience at the Shotgate Community Hall in Wickford, the One Voice Choir group sung beautifully together for their family, friends and members of the local community who had come along to watch the show specially.
The One Voice Choir was inspired and set up by The Grange’s Wellbeing Lead, Cathy, who is passionate about maintaining a meaningful and stimulating activities programme supporting our residents, many of whom are living with dementia. The choir has been running for four years and as a result, has seen increased motivation, purposeful direction, encouraged learning new skills and installed confidence in residents.
A huge thank you must go to the whole team at The Grange who have organised this event and past events, to drive the One Voice Choir to new heights. Runwood Homes very much looks forward to the next performance.
