Residents, relatives and staff from Maun View care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, came together for a fantastic afternoon of live entertainment as they hosted a special ABBA Tribute Afternoon.
ABBA is a firm favourite amongst the residents, with everyone always keen to sing along and get up dancing whenever their favourite songs are played.
ST, a resident at Maun View care home, who counts ABBA among her favourite music, said: “I had a really good time, it was fantastic.”
Events like the ABBA tribute afternoon are a wonderful example of how creating fun events like this can bring everyone together, encourage participation and support social connection.
