Residents at Park View Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, experienced a truly special and memorable day with a visit from Honey the Tawny Owl and Jesse the Harris Hawk, kindly brought in by D&G Birds of Prey Rescue.
The visit offered residents a unique opportunity to see, learn about, and gently interact with the birds. Watching residents calmly stroke the soft feathers of Honey and Jesse created moments of quiet connection, comfort, and joy, filling the home with smiles and a sense of wonder.
