Meet Our Home Manager

Alex Sanders

I’m Alex, the Home Manager here at Parkview. I’ve been a part of the Runwood Homes family for over five years, starting my journey as a carer and then care team leader in one of our homes, then progressing to Deputy Manager at another, and now proudly stepping into the role of Home Manager at Parkview since June 2024.

My experience across multiple homes and roles has given me a broad and in-depth perspective on quality care and the importance of a compassionate, individualised approach. I am dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment where each resident feels valued and supported. Working closely with our talented team, I strive to ensure that every resident enjoys the highest possible quality of life here at Parkview.

With a hands-on, person-centered approach, I aim to foster a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home not only for our residents but also for their families, friends, and the wider community. Building strong relationships and upholding exceptional care standards is my top priority, and I’m committed to making a positive difference every day.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
