Woodbury Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, proudly celebrated a remarkable milestone on Friday, 5 June 2026, as housekeeper Stella marked 20 years of dedicated service to the home.
The special celebration took place in the Tea Room, which was decorated with a 20-year anniversary banner and featured cakes, refreshments, and gifts in recognition of Stella’s long-standing commitment. Stella was presented with a signed card from her colleagues, a gift voucher, and a bottle of Italian red wine. The presentation was led by Home Manager Mel and attended by Stella’s colleagues and residents from across the home.
The event highlighted Woodbury Court’s commitment to recognising and celebrating the achievements of its team members, with Stella’s two decades of service representing an exceptional contribution to the home and its residents.
Speaking after the celebration, Stella expressed her gratitude to those who have supported her throughout her career at Woodbury Court.
“Thank you so much for the appreciation shown to me on this special occasion,” said Stella. “I would especially like to thank Mel [Manager] and Lorraine [Deputy], as well as all of my colleagues and team members. Over the years, many of them have become personal friends, and I am incredibly grateful for the relationships we have built together.”
Reflecting on her time at the home, Stella added:
“Thank you for making me feel that Woodbury Court is my home. The support, kindness, and friendship I have received over the years mean so much to me.”
Mel, Home Manager at Woodbury Court, praised Stella’s dedication and contribution to the home.
