Residents at Rose House enjoyed an afternoon of creativity, laughter and companionship during a Prosecco and Paint event held on Friday 17 July 2026.
Residents, families and guests picked up a paintbrush while enjoying a glass of prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative, creating colourful artwork in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Guided by Lifestyle Coordinator Louise Bancroft, participants used inspiring photographs as references and were encouraged to express themselves, regardless of previous painting experience.
With music playing in the background and plenty of conversation and laughter, the event gave everyone the chance to relax, socialise and take pride in their finished masterpieces. Activities like painting help support wellbeing by encouraging self-expression, boosting confidence and creating meaningful opportunities for connection.
A participating family member said: “We have had such a lovely afternoon together. It’s been really fun and interesting and so nice to spend time together doing something a little different on our visit.”
Helen, Home Administrator at Rose House, said: “It was wonderful to see residents, families and guests enjoying an afternoon filled with creativity and companionship. Events like this encourage people to try something new, spend quality time together and create lasting memories.”
The Prosecco and Paint event is one of the many activities at Rose House designed to promote wellbeing, strengthen friendships and ensure residents continue to enjoy enriching experiences.
