Residents at Bramwell Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a taste of the seaside as the home hosted a vibrant Summer Fayre Beach Party on 24 July, bringing together residents, families, staff and members of the local community for a fun-filled day.
The care home was transformed with a beach theme, creating the perfect summer atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed live entertainment from singer Sara, a special visit from a friendly pony named Sprinkle, and a selection of traditional seaside favourites, including fish and chips, ice creams, cake, drinks and fresh fruit kebabs.
The event was organised to encourage social interaction, strengthen community connections and enhance the emotional wellbeing of residents through shared experiences and meaningful moments.
Mable Joloza, Home Manager at Bramwell Care Home, said: “Our Summer Beach Party was a wonderful opportunity to bring everyone together and celebrate the season. Seeing residents, families, staff and our local community enjoying the day together created a fantastic atmosphere and made it a truly memorable occasion.”
The day was filled with laughter, music and conversation, reflecting Bramwell Care Home’s ongoing commitment to creating engaging activities that enrich the lives of residents and strengthen relationships within the community.
