Residents of Maun View care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a minibus visit to Bardills Garden Centre for an afternoon of exploring, relaxing and enjoying some delicious treats.
During the visit, residents had the opportunity to have a leisurely wander around the garden centre, looking at the selection of plants and spending time watching the fish in the aquarium section. After exploring, everyone headed to the café to enjoy a well-deserved cup of tea and a slice of cake or toasted teacake.
Resident PC, from Maun View care home, summed up the afternoon perfectly, saying: “I had a great time, my chocolate cake was lovely.”
Minibus trips like these are at the heart of Maun View care home and are an important part of supporting residents’ wellbeing, providing opportunities to socialise with the community and create great memories.
