Please be advised that, in England, a lockdown will commence from 5th November 2020 until 2nd December 2020.
An update on visiting guidance for care homes was released by the Government on the afternoon of the 4th November 2020, advising that window visits are to be allowed and Covid-secure visits could be facilitated inside care homes.
The latest Government guidelines have been reviewed, and we are very pleased to state that we will be supporting window visits with immediate effect.
In terms of indoor visits, we are currently evaluating the arrangements to allow safe visiting inside each care home; taking an individual approach.
As and when each of our homes are able to safely facilitate indoor visits, families will be contacted directly by the home. We will endeavour to work as quickly as possible, so that visits can take place as soon as possible, with effective and reviewed safety measures in place. We thank you for your patience and kind understanding during this time.
To kindly reiterate, our homes are also operating virtual visiting via video calling as well as facilitating telephone calls.
