Humfrey Lodge celebrate their ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission

Humfrey Lodge are delighted to have received their ‘Good’ outcome, following an inspection from the Care Quality Commission. The home has been rated good throughout all five key lines of enquiry, including ‘Safe’, ‘Effective’, ‘Caring’, ‘Responsive’ and ‘Well-led’.

The team are celebrating their rating which reflects their hard work and exceptional efforts in providing good quality care for residents. The team were especially delighted to see that the key area, ‘Safe’, was rated ‘Good’, as this particular area had previously been rated requires improvement.

The report stated:

“Staff were flexible in the areas they worked in. We observed the lunchtime period, people were well supported, and staff were attentive to people’s needs. During the inspection we observed staff checking people who were in their rooms to make sure they were comfortable and had everything they needed. At no time did we observe people having to wait any length of time for staff to attend to their needs.”

Georgina Braithwaite, Home Manager at Humfrey Lodge, comments:

The team and I are thrilled to receive our ‘Good’ CQC Rating, with the rating consistent throughout all areas of enquiry. At Humfrey Lodge, our utmost priority is to offer quality care, keeping our residents safe and cultivating a positive and welcoming environment for all.”
