Leawood Manor Celebrates a Remarkable Milestone – Honor’s 100th Birthday

Leawood Manor care home in Nottingham, was filled with joy and celebration on Saturday, 3rd February, as they marked the incredible 100th birthday of their beloved resident, Honor. The day was filled with heartfelt moments and festivities to honour this remarkable milestone.

In the morning, Honor was surrounded by her loving family, opening cards and gifts. The air was filled with laughter and joy as they shared precious moments, accompanied by homemade cupcakes and a specially crafted birthday cake. The celebration continued in the afternoon with a delightful birthday tea at Leawood Manor, where friends gathered to raise a toast to a century of life.

Honor received a special birthday card from King Charles and Queen Camilla, an acknowledgment that brought great pride and honour.

Ketki Nanda, the Wellbeing Lead at Leawood Manor, shared her thoughts on this momentous occasion, saying, “Honor is a lady of few words with a great sense of honour.
