Staff and residents at Mulberry Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, celebrated after the home’s kitchen was awarded the highest possible 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating by the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
Following an inspection on 24 July 2026, the kitchen achieved the top rating, recognising its exceptional standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene.
Kirsty Edgar, Lifestyle Coordinator, said: “We were incredibly proud that our kitchen was awarded a 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating. This achievement reflected the hard work, dedication, and high standards of our amazing catering team, who worked tirelessly to provide our residents with delicious, nutritious, and safe meals every single day.”
The five-star rating recognised the catering team’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards and ensured residents could continue to enjoy meals prepared in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Staff celebrated the well-deserved achievement and thanked the kitchen team for their continued dedication.
