Rose House Care Home was transformed into a tropical paradise on 26th June 2026 as residents, families and staff enjoyed a lively Hawaiian-themed party, organised as part of the home’s activities programme.
The celebration featured colourful decorations, Hawaiian shirts and flower leis, with everyone embracing the theme in vibrant fancy dress. The afternoon was filled with tropical music, games and plenty of laughter, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the home.
Helen Hodge, Administrator at Rose House Care Home, highlighted the importance of events like this in supporting residents’ wellbeing and encouraging social interaction.
Residents, families and staff came together to enjoy the festivities, with a popular highlight being the mocktail bar, where residents sampled a range of refreshing alcohol-free tropical drinks with colourful garnishes and umbrellas.
The event reflected Rose House Care Home’s ongoing commitment to providing engaging activities that promote wellbeing, connection and enjoyment for all residents.
