Bennett Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, is delighted to announce that Jack Hughes, Lifestyle Coordinator, has successfully completed his year-long apprenticeship in Health and Social Care, earning a distinction while continuing to work full time within the home.
Comment from Home Manager, Laura Smith:
“Jack’s commitment to his apprenticeship has been exceptional. He has grown in both confidence and skill, and we are all incredibly proud of what he has achieved.”
Jack began his apprenticeship to deepen his care-based knowledge and strengthen his work supporting residents at Bennett Lodge. His dedication reflects his passion for enhancing the wellbeing of the people he supports, and his belief in constantly developing his practice.
Comment from Jack:
“Completing this apprenticeship while working full time has been one of the toughest things I’ve done, but absolutely the most rewarding. It’s helped me understand the people I support in a deeper way, and it’s made me even more passionate about creating moments of joy in their day.”
Jack officially completed his apprenticeship on 30 September 2025, marking a significant milestone in his professional journey. His achievement represents far more than the completion of a qualification, it’s a testament to his determination to become the best possible version of himself for the residents he works with.
Bennett Lodge is incredibly proud of Jack’s hard work and the positive impact he continues to make every day.
