Residents, staff and families came together at Ashwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, on 19 December 2025 to celebrate the festive season at the community’s much-loved Residents Christmas Party, an annual event filled with music, laughter and Christmas cheer.
Commenting on the event, Carly, Lifestyle Coordinator at Ashwood Care Home, said the celebration was a wonderful way to bring everyone together at such a special time of year.
“The residents absolutely loved the Christmas party and really enjoyed Nick’s live singing,” Carly said.
The party featured a live singer who entertained guests throughout the event, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. Residents, staff and family members all joined in, making the celebration a shared experience for the whole community.
The atmosphere on the day was described as very Christmassy, with decorations, music and festive energy filling the room. One of the standout highlights was seeing residents up on their feet, enjoying a dance and “having a boogie” together.
