Residents at Lancaster Court enjoyed a creative gardening activity that gave used plastic bottles a colourful new purpose.
Residents, family members, staff and the wellbeing team decorated recycled bottles before transforming them into plant pots and planting seeds.
Lifestyle Coordinator Sona said: “Residents enjoyed getting creative and were pleased to see how everyday plastic bottles could be reused instead of thrown away.”
Despite the changeable weather, the activity continued indoors before the finished pots were proudly displayed in the garden.
The project encouraged creativity, gardening and conversations around recycling, with Lancaster Court hoping to explore more environmentally friendly activities in the future.
