Park View Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, proudly marked World Wildlife Day on 3 March 2026 with an engaging visit from Animal Workshops.
The team at Park View invited Animal Workshops into the home to provide residents with a unique, hands-on wildlife experience. All residents were involved in the celebration, coming together to observe, interact with, and learn about a variety of animals.
The visit was arranged to honour World Wildlife Day and to give residents the opportunity to connect with nature in an engaging and meaningful way. The atmosphere throughout the day was described as amazing, with smiles and laughter filling the room. One resident summed up the event perfectly, describing it as a “fabulous day.”
A particular highlight of the event was seeing residents confidently talking about and gently stroking the different animals, creating special moments of joy and connection.
Events such as these are an important part of life at Park View, promoting wellbeing, sparking conversation, and ensuring residents remain actively engaged with the world around them.
